Fair Poster Contest Winner
Gail Hawes who is a Union native with strong roots
at Union Fair. Between helping her father at the
Fairgrounds in the off-season, and showing
cattle with her aunt and uncle, Union Fair was
always the highlight of her summer growing up.
After being away at school for a number of
years, Gail settled back in Union in 1999 with
her family. She once again became involved in
the Fair, first by showing sheep with her two
daughters, and then becoming a volunteer with
the organization. Art and photography recently
have become a new focus for Gail.
